Responsibilities
· Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose mechanical issues in machinery, equipment, and systems.
· Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
· Repair, replace, or adjust mechanical components such as motors, belts, bearings, pumps, valves, and conveyors.
· Install, test, and calibrate machinery and mechanical systems according to specifications.
· Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and maintenance instructions.
· Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and repair reports.
· Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and carry out corrective actions safely.
· Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments to perform maintenance tasks.
· Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance and support operational needs.
· Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
· Identify opportunities for equipment improvement and recommend solutions.
· Assist in training junior technicians or operators on basic maintenance procedures.
